Spring is on its way and I've been knitting to celebrate!!
I started A Good Bias from IWK Spring 05. I've been wanting to make this ever since the issue came out, but couldn't get my act together. I realized I had some Jo Sharp Desert Garden in Garnet (color 239) that I picked up a while ago on sale from Webs. When I swatched for gauge, I wasn't sure if I liked the color, but I'm absolutely loving it. It's a fairly quick knit and I'm loving the openness of the lace pattern. It's really fun to be knitting something that I can wear when I'm done. Pictures to come later this week.
It's been a fun weekend - the weather has been nice and we spent some time outside with H. He amazes me every day.
And I need to be better about taking some pictures. It would make this blog more exciting again, that's for sure.
It's fun to be knitting a bunch again. I'm also holding out to cast on for another pair of Jaywalkers. The first pair didn't fit, so I'm going to cast on with the raspberry limeade yarn that my SP9 sent.
More pictures later in the week.
