Well, there isn't much knitting going on here, but I did just buy a sweater's worth of Patons Classic Wool in their dark red. I'm not sure why I was compelled to buy this today, but it jumped out at me at Michael's. I have some birthday money burning a whole in my pocket, so I ponied up. I've been wanting to make Norah Gaughan's Titled Duster, but I'm not sure if it will look good with my curves. I'm short and busty, so this might not be the best look for me. But, if I don't use it for that, I'm sure I can find something to make with it. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow.
Today has been really productive, too. I'm working on the final writing of my dissertation and I've struggled through writer's block for this whole process. I think I've finally hit a stride, and I'm making some good progress. I'm not sure what has changed, but I'm not going to dwell on that. I spent the morning doing some writing at Panera and then hopped across the street to the new Chipotle in town for lunch. Hmmm. Hmmm. So yummy!
This weekend is H's birthday party – the second one. His birthday was last Friday, but not everyone could make it last week, so we're having party #2 tomorrow. See you then with some pictures. J
